I've never been to Philadelphia, so I can't speak much to that, but I feel the same way about coastal southern California, both the natural landscape (which is really similar to my current novel's setting) and the shiny new cities. Ancient magic and new surroundings would be kind of cool to play with together. I'd also love to see some fantasy set in Albuquerque or other areas of New Mexico. We have loads of folk lore to draw on. The same cities though just get used over and over.
