You post with amazing fluency and beta fic in a language that wasn't your first. I speak several languages, and I'm no where near brave enough to do more than anonymous Russian/English fic translation.

Aww, but I was getting ready to break out of my bedroom with nothing but a spoon and a roll of double sided tape. I'm fine, just bored.


You run the best fests. You effortlessly dragged me kicking and screaming into a fandom I had no intention of participating in.

You are a prolific and tremendously talented writer with a deft hand at my favorite genre of all, angst.

You get it with regards to chronic illness and what it means to have stories where the happy ending doesn't mean that everybody's cured and able-bodied at the end, where no one learns some kind of lesson, where people get to live with their illness, get the guy, and be people. I can't tell you how much that means.
