No it isn't. It's set in a wild little scifi verse where after years of successfully impersonating a free man, Neal is arrested and discovered to be an escaped slave and Sara buys him to try to coerce the whereabouts of the Raphael out of him. Because I couldn't do anything the easy way and had to write a novella with an actual plot.
