Once again there are three people dead because someone decided they should die for being Jewish or in this case, daring to associate with Jewish people, and part of me is intellectually going over the reasons why there has always been an uptick in anti-Semitic violence around Easter and Passover, for as long as there has been Easter.  Part of me is busy being angry and making sarcastic quips like the title of this post.  Part of me is again reminded that I should be afraid.  But most of me is just so tired of it all, and wondering if it will ever stop.

And that part of me just hurts for the families of the dead.  Zekher kadosh livrakha, May the memory of the holy be a blessing.

Two of the dead are a 14 year old boy and his grandfather. Those poor families.

Yup, I mean, he was former Grand Dragon of the Carolina KKK and screamed "Heil Hitler" while he opened fire, but that doesn't mean he was part of an organized white supremacist movement or anything? Nonono, must be mental illness, because when white men commit atrocities it's always because they're sick. Because obviously the mentally ill are far more dangerous than the KKK, who are just harmless throwbacks, a hobbyist association if you will. Also, since he killed two Methodists and a Catholic it can't be actual anti-Semitic violence, despite the deliberately chosen locations of the shootings. It's all right, this isn't troubling at all! Just remember, crazy people are evil and white supremacy is harmless.
