Pastiche: Even the Gryffindor Girls are Sighing
Another Pastiche, this one based on Mark Collie's "Even the Man in the Moon is Crying" (oooh, country!) about Trelawney and her ways of greeting a class. The "Gryffindor girls" part refers to the Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil type of Gryffindor girl, not the Hermione type (though she certainly sighed at Trelawney's ridiculousness, and snorted, and huffed, and scoffed).

They hiked up to the room in north tower
One said “say hello to the nut job”
She glittered a big eyed insect
They sat down on poof chairs
Just like she was normal
But somewhere in the darkness
They heard her start to say
“Now I see faces in the ball
Saying someone won’t be here at all
I look for guidance in the sky
But the stars say that death is nigh
I’m sorry to say a student will be dying”
Even the Gryffindor girls are sighing
They’re burning up that ladder
Heading down to transfig
They wonder if she’s completely nuts
They wish they couldn’t hear her
Calling down to them
They wish they didn’t have to go back next week
“Now I see faces in the ball
Saying someone won’t be here at all
I look for guidance in the sky
But the stars say that death is nigh
I’m sorry to say a student will be dying”
Even the Gryffindor girls are sighing

Even the Gryffindor girls are sighing
Even the Gryffindor girls are sighing
