Birthday AU Commentfic Meme!

It’s my birth month, and to celebrate, I’m hosting a commentfic meme! I’m in the mood to write some AU fics, so that’s the theme of the meme. I’m open to both Avatar: the Last Airbender and Harry Potter requests, and I’m also taking requests in any of my existing AUs (Except Children of Mars), including the ones I established im my last commentfic meme, as well as new ones. Comment with up to five requests, and I’ll guarantee you at least one commentfic. I’ll probably answer with more, knowing me.

Sigh, yeah. I spent most of my life trying to figure out what was wrong with me that made me an outcast. A lot of it had to do with my disability, though mine is not physical but rather mental and not as obvious. But yeah. Sometimes people make me want to bang my head against it wall. It makes me so angry because the mexican's that move over there get this sense of entitlement and that they are better than those in Mexico. And those that are born over there turn up their noses at the illegal immigrants when in most cases, that's how their parents got there. Sigh.

If it makes you feel better, a lot of them are smug in self defense for the crap they get put through by old New Mexican Hispanics and Anglos. Which is always the way, it seems with that kind of thing.

Oh wow, I just read this jewel of yours and loved it! Are you going to write what comes next? More parts to this? Long fic? Maybe? please? with tons of chocolate on top?

This is one of those "when I get requests for them, I fill them, but otherwise I ignore it" verses. There'll probably be another continuation on the next meme I run, or the story of what happens when the gaang+Zuko meets up with Jet in Ba Sing Se (Beboots is waiting for a chance to ask for it). Also, there's two fics other than this one from this meme set in the same universe, and the three fics from the last meme.

Oh, I've only seen it abbreviated A:tLA. Most of the modern day AUs I know of are really really shippy.

Ah, huh, I had only seen it like ALAB. I don't mind ship, slash/het just really good stories and since you're amazing, I know anything you recommend would be good.

It's really not my crack (I tend to prefer fantasy and scifi AUs of non-fantasy/scifi shows) so I don't have many, but transference by scuttlebutt inc (two author team) is good: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4555190/1/Transference (Zukka) as is Irrel's AU, which is a Zutara webcomic http://paolairene.com/irrelsau/?p=157 (though it has not blind!Toph which pisses me off) hmmm, really don't know many. I know a couple of modern technology but not our universe fics too, but it's really as I said, not my crack.
