There are some things you do that turn out to be cathartic, and then there are things that you thought would be cathartic and end up just making you feel exhausted and a little sick. It was good for my writing. I'm not sure it was good for my mental health.
It's the difference between knowing that every person you meet could be another Azula and realizing that they probably aren't. Between knowing that all of us can hurt each other in countless ways, and realizing that most of us aren't going to. It's very strange to know that yes, the threats you see are real, but you have to act as if they weren't there, and probably things will be okay.
