Something similar happened when I broke my wrist and elbow when I was eight. Mom was furious because it was Mother's Day, and I wouldn't stop complaining during brunch, and she snapped at me "It's not like it's broken!" And then, after the x-ray came back, she looked at me and said: "You're never going to let me live this down, are you?"
