I came out of Harry Potter fandom, so A:tLA seems pleasantly balanced and low key in comparison... Actually, when I was in White Collar fandom, I realized just how terrifying and not safe nice little fandoms can be. I think it's just the nature of fandom to leave me going "What? No!" on a day to day basis.
