I have a rare immune disorder, that among other things involves spectacularly strange allergic reactions, including seizures, and the only doctor who treats it is halfway across the country from me. I've been at her office for the past two weeks testing for allergy shots, triggering seizures, narcolepsy, asthma, stomach aches, migraines, and more ordinary hay fever. During the hay fever sorts of reactions, and when I got to the guest house if I had any energy left at all, I wrote. I managed to finish the short fic I was working on and write 1500 words on the next chapter, so I'm not too badly off, but between that and the fact that the short story took me way longer than I was expecting and I didn't start the chapter until I had finished, I'm only halfway through writing the next chapter.
