Since I am still working on my Hurricane Sandy story (sorry floranna, you'll have your story, I promise) I can't do an offering for the Philippines, but for once in my life, I have a little bit of money, and I was looking to buy a fic.  and sadly, none of my favorite authors in A:tLA are even offering (sad fish face is very sad).  Any of you guys looking at those disaster photos and thinking "I just got to do something"?  Anybody?  They need more offerers.

No worries, I am busy too and I need to write two fics and a big bunch of scool essays during this time. Eeegh.

I offered a box from Finland and it already went, but if you want to buy one I am willing to do one extra, except I'll start building it in the beginning of December.

I would like to buy something too, but I get all my money in December and I am afraid it will all be gone at that time...

I'm about to start school for my teaching degree, and I really am going to work to get your fic done by January.

That's really sweet that you're willing to put these boxes together like this. Unfortunately, I'm so allergic to everything, that building a box of goodies that I would be able to enjoy would be next to impossible, and I wouldn't ask that of you.

Dang. If I have your gift done by the time you get your money, I'll write you another fic for 25 dollars to UNICEF.

I just don't have much faith on these fandom charity auctions, myself. I'm still out five fics from people I donated for, and myself haven't delivered two fics that I ended up writer's blocked on. At this point, if there's disaster relief to be give, I just donate myself.

Well, this would be the very first time I actually had any money to donate, and that's part of the reason I haven't bought from any of the few people offering A:tLA fics. I don't know them, and I don't trust them to deliver. However, I have always delivered, and it gives me a way to do something that doesn't involve me donating money I don't have.

It's not just food. It would have to have nothing with wool, latex, linen, or acrylic, nothing artificially scented, nothing that's going to out-gas, nothing that's been recently painted... It's a long, easy to mess up list, and I know if we tried, I would screw up and forget something, and it would end up in the box, and I would get sick.
