Well, he named his bison "daddy" and his lemur "peach", slightly better than Loki.
Katara and/or Sokka would insist on taking over naming pets for him.
I wonder what they would name them given half a chance. Sokka especially should not be allowed to name anything.
And instead of going on a quest, Loki would infiltrate the Fire Nation and become Fire Lord.
Until he got bored.
Then
he would go on side-quests.
If Aang's reaction to Appa being stolen is any indication, if anybody tried to chain his wolfy child up, Ragnarok would be the least of their worries.
