Better characterswap: Loki and Zuko. That would change things quite a bit. (Exiled!Loki would just treat the so-called quest as one big field trip and might not even bother trying to bring in the Avatar, for one thing.)
Aang would strike hard and fast without bothering to scheme or insult people, so he'd probably succeed in destroying Asgard. But then the surviving Aesir would just chain him up with a snake.
Fire Lord Loki would be a trainwreck. The hilarious kind that I would watch a cartoon about. And of course Zuko would try to win the throne. Why are you giving me plotbunnies, Fish? Do you hate me? Do you hate the idea of me finishing my current projects? Is that it?
