I did look at the fest and wrote this with the fest in mind, but by the time I'd finished it (it took me a month, significantly longer than any fic of this length had taken me, the latter part of which I spent ill) I'd forgotten about the fest. I somehow managed to turn off the watch part of the membership to your community. Come to think of it, I was worried when I started this that this wouldn't be the fest theme, because polls were still open.
