I remember Chris Rock doing a bit about your prejudices coming back to you: If you don't like gays your son will be gay, and if you don't like Puerto Ricans your daughter will bring home *starts singing* "living la vida loca." I guess the universe has a sense of justice after all, albeit a twisted sort.
