My mom and I rarely fight, and when we do, one of us is usually suffering from the behavioral precursor to allergy induced seizures. When I'm the one having this, Mom gets angry, and then quickly gets scared and orders me to take my medication. Mom has never had a n allergy seizure, just the halo, and she swings back and forth between acknowledgment and denial. When she has the halo, She makes accusations and insists that I'm having an allergic reaction, while I franticly try to calm her down. it doesn't help that her main criterion for years to measure whether I was about to have a seizure was whether or not she wanted to strangle me. Dad and I don't fight, he mostly just looks upset when he's angry at me, and I mostly write him letters when I'm mad at him. My grandmother and I fight over the weirdest things, like Snape being good or evil, while Mom stands between us saying, "ladies, please!" But my best friend and I fight dirty, and my siblings and I know no other way to express affection.
*Snerk* indeed.
I used the "Snape is good" test for a while to see if someone was worth hanging out with.
