Summary: After the Agni Kai, his father sends him away to be a soldier, to fight and die with the soldiers he spoke out to save.

Author's Note: Written for Jaggedcliffs on Tumblr as a reward for donating thirty-six dollars to HIAS, a charity that aids immigrants and refugees coming to the US and are fighting Trump's crimes against humanity.
