Actually I read somewhere that everything we see/hear/touch is never forgotten, really. It's in the brain somewhere. So your recall is just much better than everyone else's.
Well she could - but she might need more time to study - after all, she took a time-turner for classes and all. And you can't exactly work on essays and similar when in class.
