I like your story. Its wonderfully complicated, but I am always waiting for the next installment. This is the wierdest relationship between Harry and Severus that I ever heard of. How is Snape going to handle a 17 year old child he has seen growing up as his father? But the Xmas present seems to show that Harry is at least trying to build something. At least both parties realize that Harry can't even think of parental authority with respect to Severus.
Without Voldemort around, Harry doesn't have the incentive to really think of a will, but wills are a last ditch effort to acknowledge relationships, pay off debts and settle matters. Can you imagine Harry having to put down in black and white that Severus Snape aka Sebastion Prince is his son and entitled to a hunk of the Potter fortune? Does Harry have real money in your universe? I have seen fics which have him super wealthy and those in which his vault is only enough to support him through Hogwarts. I can't remember what Harry does in canon with the will written before the Horcrux hunt, but I most fic has him dividing his property between Hermione and Ron with Hermione getting his books and Ron getting the Firebolt.
