Thanks, I'm glad you like it so far. I thoroughly dislike the stories where Harry a and Snape work though their issues quickly and suddenly move on to being friends. There is waaaay too much history there for that.
He didn't go back for Ginny, really, he went back because he absolutely had to, to kill Voldemort, which was the goal his entire life had been structured around. He left right then instead of later because he opened his mouth during his epiphany, and pissed Eileen off enough to kick him out. Harry's a little emotionally dense.
Well, my Ginny certainly isn't a Mary Sue. She isn't nice enough. Actually I keep getting told she's something of a bitch.
