Poor La. It's exactly like and yet a a million times worse than when you're a kid and your parents get you an identical pet to replace the one that died. He's heartbroken at his loss, but he has to go on since her replacement is right there.
On a side note, I liked the details of how the spirits are in three places at once. It's a nice, if slightly confusing, touch.
