Sounds exciting. The thing about having a Jewish character, if you're setting it in England the Netherlands, or Skandanavia, you want to pay close attention to whether they're Saphardic or Ashkenazi. Although the Ashkanazi are European and white, they were an immigrant population in the 1800s an early 1900s, whereas the Sephardi (Spanish) Jews had been there since the 1600s and had moved into the societal elite. There was a lot of tension between the two groups.
