My dad's actually really good about humanities, and polisci, and he will give anybody at his work a long talking to who thinks things outside the sciences are useless and for idiots. the words "you couldn't even begin to do what my daughter does" have been heard. But engineers are different. Engineers and physicists have a bit of a rivalry. Physicists say engineers are intellectually lazy pretend scientists who use the science physicists have discovered for them without ever thinking about what it means. Engineers say physicists are useless.
