Seriously. And given how much especially France, but the rest of Europe, Canada, and America through trade owe them, I always thought that instead of siccing the IMF on them, which imposed draconian free trade that destroyed Haitian agriculture by flooding the market with subsidized American rice, wheat, and corn, (because what's good for the goose is not good for the gander) the countries which held their debt should have forgiven it.
