Hee! I strongly suspect that some of Mozzie's more out there paranoia is indeed obfuscating stupidity.
I actually have an idea for a fic that has yet to flesh itself out about how both Mozzie and Neal intentionally play up their respective personas in order to throw others off guard. Neal genuinely loves nice clothes, and Mozzie really is high-strung and distrusting, but they both know that a pretty-boy dandy and a paranoid conspiracy nut are likely to be underestimated.
