This is wonderful. I love how the Water Tribe is "why is he so ungrateful?" I would love to read a story with Pakku attempting to take Zuko in and then giving up before he drowned the child.
I'm wondering if Zuko's feeling a bit of guilt for not treating Iroh all that well. It's horrible losing someone, but losing someone and knowing that you didn't appreciate them enough at the time is awful... though maybe that's me looking into this a bit too much.
I have to admit all I could think about through the interactions with Yue and Zuko was how much they were going to get messed up by Hahn, Sokka (assuming Yue still falls for him) and then the whole Moon Spirit thing (though without Iroh is Zuko going to be the one to suggest it?) I do like bored Yue. Admittedly because she was killed off so early I never really consider her personality too much, but I really like her in this.
