Zuko hunched his shoulders. "That was a sacred firebending form."
"Called a dance."
"Called 'not happening!'" Zuko yelled. "Especially not where anybody can see!"
"Oh, so that's what this is about!" Sokka backed away and scowled at Zuko. "You're ashamed of me. You don't want everybody to see you with a Water Tribe peasant! Is that it?"
"What? No! That's not what this is about at all!" And the most galling thing was, Sokka knew that perfectly well.
"Prove it." Sokka came in for the killing blow. "Come with me, and dance with me in front of everybody."
Zuko hung his head. "Yeah, okay."
Sokka clapped his hands together and hugged him. "I knew you'd see things my way."
"I hate you," Zuko mumbled, voice muffled against Sokka's arm.
