L'Shana Tova!
Sep. 7th, 2013 06:30 pmYes, I know it's a little late, but on Thursday, I was busy alternating between throwing up and shivering in bed, watching The Prince of Egypt, and yesterday, my grandmother's dog passed away unexpectedly, so I think I can be excused.
Anyway, Happy New Year, to all my fellow Jewish people!

Date: 2013-09-08 09:37 pm (UTC)This is the one thing about having so many dogs. There are more dog deaths. On the other hand, there is always a cold wet nose and a warm furry body to cuddle up to you and make you feel better after something like this. I don't think I could deal with a dog death without another dog around. Grammy's dog, Happy, was 14 1/2 years old, so she had a good long life with us. My grandmother also has two of Happy's granddaughters, and they've been mourning together.
Prince of Egypt makes me cry too. And not just at the parts I'm supposed to cry at. I feel so bad for Ramesses and the Egyptians. And then there's all my Jewish/freedom loving/anti-slavery feels.
