I have family in Alabama- Meme FOR CHARITY

My sister, my brother, my brother's wife and kids, and my uncle and cousin all live in Huntsville Alabama, one of the hardest hit areas by the recent tornadoes. I don't yet know how they're doing, or even if they're doing. Livejournal is offering a vgift for $2.99 dollars, the proceeds of which go to the tornado disaster relief effort, and this weekend, I will write a 100 word drabble for anybody who buys one for me in any of my three fandoms. Two vgifts gets two drabbles, three gets three, etc. After you've sent me the vgift(s), leave a comment here with a character and a one word prompt for each vgift. Please please please help out here. I'm going crazy not knowing what's happened to my family.

ETA - My sister called, and everybody is alright! I may kill her myself, because she isn't staying with our brother on the mountain, where it's safer but... Cell service is back up, but electricity is down, so she's keeping her phone off to save batteries.

They stood in front of her tribe and listened as her father told them they were one now, one life, one spirit, two bodies.

And he remembered the way it felt to let her go beneath Ba Sing Se and held a little of himself back, divorced from her, divorced from the new being they were making named Katara-and-Aang.

It was the part of him that remembered that she was her own person, the person he loved. As she wrapped her arms around him and drew him into a kiss, he hoped she held back that bit of herself too.

I think Aang learned an important lesson about love that day, and it wasn't the easy or romantic, but valuable, and I like to think he remembers it.
