The first five people to comment on this post get to request that I write a drabble/ficlet of any pairing/character of their choosing in either the Harry Potter, Avatar: the Last Airbender, or White Collar Fandoms, except Ty Zula.  However, if you request in one of my established AUs, please keep to the parings in that universe.  In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.  (sketch and drawble memes can be substituted for writing memes, though!)

If you want to play the meme but NOT repost and play on your own LJ, you can absolutely still make a request, but please make a note to that effect in your comment so that I can prioritize/encourage the folks playing along at home.  And you know, request fics on their memes XD.

The sketchbook flipped closed so fast the pages buzzed, which was what really made Peter realize what he had seen.

"Peter," Neal had a way of smiling, the "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" smile, the pay no attention to the nude portrait halfway finished in the middle of the sketch pad that had just been opened to it a second ago smile. Pay attention to the smile, is this the smile of a man who would tell a lie.

Yes. Yes it was. "Is that-"

Neal's smile froze almost to fast to see before it went lopsided. "Just a little practice."

"A little, Neal, that's um, ah..."

"Excellent? Inspired? Why thank you, Peter."

"I was going to say very imaginative." He retorted voice clipped.

"Please. People have been drawing nudes since before we moved out of the caves." Neal buried the sketchbook under the Sunday paper and a stack of files. "It's no big deal."

Peter doubted prehistoric people had ever drawn anyone who could have put them in prison naked on cave walls. In the picture, his face had been in profile, the lines quick and almost abrupt, and it was strange, seeing Neal, even for a second, before he shut the sketchbook, drawing him. Seeing his charcoal following the lines of his face, made him bring his hand up to touch his his nose and cheek to wipe away the almost visceral feel of Neal's charcoal.

It felt like he could feel Neal's hand prints all over his body.

Neal smiled again, his you didn't look closely enough to realize I was drawing you, and if you did, we can both pretend you didn't smile. His I'm giving you an out, please give me one smile. It was Neal's mortified smile. His skin was pale with the effort of keeping himself from blushing.

And Peter just snorted and let him have his out. What choice did he have?

OMG, this RULES!!! The way you psychoanalyze the smile! And then "...he could feel Neal's hand prints all over his body." GUH!! I love how you portrayed all of Neal's emotions and tactics through Peter's POV. And maybe I should have specified, but I *wanted* pre-slash, so this was just perfect! THANK YOU.

I figured. I got to then end and realized all I'd managed to write was the two of them going "oh crap" at each other, and kind of felt bad for not getting them any further. I'm glad you like it!
