In honor of February 14, the first fourteen people who leave a prompt here with a ship from any of my three fandoms (pairing, threesome, moresome) and a one word prompt, I will write a 140 word story for that pairing and prompt.

A few ground rules related to my personal squicks:

No incest
No ships where one party is much older or younger than the other(s)
No ships that include both Ty Lee and Azula

The silk papering the wall was pealing and shredded under her fingers. "I've heard he isn't even a pureblood."

Lucius sat rigid in his chair. "Do you you have any idea what he would do to us if he heard you saying something like that?"

"Lucius," she murmured. "He's doing it to us slowly already."

He didn't say anything, staring at the wall beside her.

"We followed him because he was supposed to restore us to our rightful place as the natural aristocracy-"

"It isn't about our place anymore," he snapped. "It's about survival."

Her feet hissed against the floor as she crossed the room to take his hand. Her thumb rubbed the thin web of skin over the bones and veins she knew as well as the back of her own hand. "As long as we both know that."

6. Azula/Aang - Spicy

"The food they fed me in the hospital had no taste at all," she told him defensively, as he winced, watching her devour the spiced sausage and meat buns.

The Avatar rolled his eyes. "That's because whenever they tried to season your food, you tried to kill your nurse, because you thought she was trying to assassinate you."

she ignored him, gazing out the window at the soldiers ringing her isolated cottage. "They swarm over the place like insects. How nice of my brother to keep me here while our father rots in prison."

"He wants to give you a chance," he Avatar said. "You were a child."

"Would anyone believe me, if..."

"Convince them."

She trailed her finger up his arm and cupped his cheek. "Oh believe me, Avatar," she mocked. "I no longer want what's owed to me."

8. Sokka/Zuko - Dance

"You danced with Aang," Sokka wheedled.

Zuko hunched his shoulders. "That was a sacred firebending form."

"Called a dance."

"Called 'not happening!'" Zuko yelled. "Especially not where anybody can see!"

"Oh, so that's what this is about!" Sokka backed away and scowled at Zuko. "You're ashamed of me. You don't want everybody to see you with a Water Tribe peasant! Is that it?"

"What? No! That's not what this is about at all!" And the most galling thing was, Sokka knew that perfectly well.

"Prove it." Sokka came in for the killing blow. "Come with me, and dance with me in front of everybody."

Zuko hung his head. "Yeah, okay."

Sokka clapped his hands together and hugged him. "I knew you'd see things my way."

"I hate you," Zuko mumbled, voice muffled against Sokka's arm.

"Aww, I love you too."

Oh, this is wonderful! Thank you so much :D!! Yay for Sokka manipulating Zuko into publicly dancing with him. Zuko's probably going to end up stepping on his toes at least three times, though ;).

You have no idea how close Zuko came to getting sacrificed to the Unagi.

She dangled her toes in the water, the Ember Island sand still warm from the day beneath her. When Zuko surfaced, she waved to him. "You know, I've never actually swum in the ocean before?" she called.

He swam close to the shore. "How is that even possible?" It occurred to him after he spoke that there were probably thousands, millions of people all across the Earth Kingdom and the poles who had never swum in the ocean, an absence in their lives he'd never considered before. "You're from an island." Like him.

"The water's cold back home. And you know..." She stared out over the ocean. "There's the Unagi."

"Well, there's uh, no Unagi here," he said, smiling clumsily. "You going to try it?"

"Just give me a minute." She looked up to the moon. "I'll be right in."

The first thing Sokka noticed was that Jet's mouth was empty. The second thing was that Jet's face was scrubbed pink. "What are you doing here?"

Jet gave him toothy grin. "I"m here to fight, Sokka, why else would I be here?"

"We picked him up near Ba Sing Se," Hakoda told him apologetically. "He said he knew you."

"Yeah," Sokka drew the word out. "We know him."

"So I hear the invasion plan is your idea," Jet drawled. "Huh."

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Oh nothing." Jet pulled a piece of straw out of his pocket and popped it in his mouth. "Just thinking it's a good thing somebody with real leadership abilities showed up."

Sokka glared. "There's no way you mean you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" As Jet spoke, Bato absently yanked the twig out of his mouth.

He jumped back and sidled towards the door before she stepped out of the shadows. "Oh, Hi," he said nervously, recovering himself. "Uh, Good to see you again! What are you doing here?"

She glanced around his safehouse, the metal walls hung with gauzy curtains, the floor covered in embroidered cushions. "I hear you live here... On alternate Mondays, anyway."

Switching on the lamp, he folded himself down onto the cushions and waved at her to do the same. "How did you find me?" he asked with an open mouthed smile.

"Trade secret," she told him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "I wanted to see you."

"Aww, Sally." He swung around as she curled into him, the time slipping away as they settled together. But there was still one thing. "No seriously, how did you find me?"
