Birthday AU Commentfic Meme!

It’s my birth month, and to celebrate, I’m hosting a commentfic meme!  I’m in the mood to write some AU fics, so that’s the theme of the meme.  I’m open to both Avatar: the Last Airbender and Harry Potter requests, and I’m also taking requests in any of my existing AUs (Except Children of Mars), including the ones I established im my last commentfic meme, as well as new ones.  Comment with up to five requests, and I’ll guarantee you at least one commentfic.  I’ll probably answer with more, knowing me.  weirdlet , beboots , and floranna  get seven requests and a guarantee of two fics, because beboots  and floranna  are the best betas ever, and weirdlet  has a truly bizarre AU I inflicted on her rattling around in her head.  Also, anyone who wants me to write anything from my AU of Sun Child needs to ask weirdlet  and floranna , because it’s theirs.

Yes, he would. But at least at first, Katara wouldn't be a blessing to Aang, teachingwise. Either way, I have to sit down and write it sometime.

Yeah, it's more dealing with the fact that in my worst depression, the thought that I wasn't wanted crushed me. They had known each other only few months until I was, what, seeded? Of course they have never shown any thoughts that I wasn't wanted, that's just in my mind...

Yep. Oh God, it would freak me out so much if it were me, and I'm amazed she didn't set them all on fire.

But Molly Weasley killed her so EPICALLY, and I don't want to touch that. I see Zuko being born between the two wars, and coming to school between five and ten years after the start of the second war. Maybe the first thing Voldy did after coming back was go for a booty call, even before he broke his lady-love loose? Or maybe Voldiwhisp and she tried to conduct a ritual in Azkaban, in which she would conceive of a new body for him, but it didn't work, and she had babies instead?

Also, in this fic, Iroh's the head guy at said orphanage. And, Azula's Zuko's twin, and she's pissed about being sorted into Slytherin, because she thinks it's a bad career move if she wants to keep her machinations secret. The girl inherited daddy's creepy child thing so much.

Usually, we say "conceived".

Even during my darkest times, I never imagined I was unloved or unwanted. When I was born, I was just the right age for my siblings to dote on me, and when I got sick, my whole family threw itself into finding a treatment. And my mom can't deal with the thought of me moving away, because I'm her sickly youngest. I felt a bit smothered, actually.

Yeah, I always forget that word. Same way as I mix invent and invite.

I have always known I am loved, but during the worst of my depression that just...was so 'good' place for the doubt and insecureness to settle in. And it's simply pure mathematics and one comment where mom kinda halway said that I am an accident.

I imagine it would be. For my brother, my birth was terrifying. He was afraid his dad would forget about him and my sister once he had a kid with his new wife. And that my mom would stop being the good mom to him that his own was decidedly not. Also, he already had a little sister, and she was annoying Luckily, our dad and my mom aren't like that at all.

Thought I should clarify that I meant "lady love" in the most sarcastic way possible, except for the physical. Voldemort? Not big on the lovin.

And it didn't entirely fail! I mean, this helps Voldy not at all, but his daughter makes a good go at being the next Dark Lady. Poor Zuko. He'll never get a job now.

I agree, especially with the gag part.

Also, Zuko's going to have some kind of adventure with a snake. And that nasty parseltongue's going to give him away. Not a nice thing to find out, being voldy spawn. And Jet's going to think he should die, because of this, and Zuko's a hard core theater geek in this, and Azula's favorite spell is Incendio, used as a curse, (and then she discovers fiendfyre), and...

No, this is not the universe I need to explore.

Good People and Death Eaters. It's the one with "Blurring" and "Spectacles", you know, where Voldemort came to power in the early eighties, and Lily managed to pass Harry off as Snape's kid. I have at least five more installments on it before I'm done, two of which hare half-finished.

Iroh dies in s2: Crossroads of Destiny, Pt 3/?

Zuko shuddered under her touch. He tried to look at her, but his eyes kept sliding over her, and he couldn’t meet her eyes. Her words pounded around her head along with the pain of his head bouncing off the stones. His vision swam. He wanted to go home. He wanted it to be all over.

Azula waved her hand imperiously, and the Dai li with her brought their feet down. The crystals slid down, disappearing back into the solid, gray stone of the floor. Zuko found his feet, staring back at his sister. “It’s your choice,” she told him, stepping onto the stone platform waiting for her at the bottom of the wall, but before the platform could rise, she hesitated. “It’s a good sign that you managed to get rid of Uncle. He never was ready to do what had to be done in the name of power. I’m glad you see that n-”

Zuko lunged at her with a yell like he had been struck. The stone hands caught him out of the air and threw him back to the floor. Azula stepped off the platform and stood over her brother. Her eyes narrowed into poisonous slits. “He’s dead,” Zuko babbled. “He’s dead, and-” the words just stopped. They cut off before he could stop them, before Azula could stop them. They just died.

Azula shook her head slightly, the only reaction she showed to the news of her uncle’s death. “Bring him with us. We’ll have to lock him up somewhere more secure.”

“You-” Zuko spat, but Azula waved her hand again and another stone fist clamped itself around his face.

“I hope you’re happy now,” she remarked coldly as the Dai Li pulled him up from the ground and closed their rock gloves around his wrists and ankles. “You’re going to die, Zuzu, and I’m not going to care.”

Toph felt the tremors in the stone, tremors that told her about rumblings in the cave behind them. She ran faster, her feet never touching the ground long enough for her to feel where she was going. She kept her arms out in front of her, and they bumped into the backs of her friends as she jostled down the tunnel behind them, until they stopped, suddenly, without warning her. Toph ran into them. “Ow!”

“Shh.” Katara helped her back to her feet.

The rumblings had... stopped. Toph felt the ground. The bottom of her stomach dropped out. “Oh man.” The earth shivered under her feet. “We left Zuko back there!”

“No,” Aang whispered. “No, we didn’t.”

At the very edge of Toph’s vision, she felt a familiar figure between two Dai Li agents. She felt the stone cuffs on his wrists and ankles, and suddenly the bottom of her stomach was back, and it was made out of molten lead.

The tunnels swam around Zuko as the Dai Li carried him up, and out of the earth and into a metal lined corridor. With every movement, his head pounded and his stomach turned over and over. Bile rose high in his throat, and he gagged. The vomit filled his mouth and oozed out between the fingers of the stone glove. He choked and thrashed, panting hard through his nose, but no matter how hard he breathed, he couldn’t get any air no matter how hard he breathed.

“Crap, Dao, stop, get the gag off him. He’s choking.” The two Dai Li agents propped him up against the wall and removed the gag. The vomit ran down his face, and he coughed, sliding down the wall and slumping over his knees.

The other agent eyed the puddle of vomit dripping down onto the metal floor with distaste. “Come on, let’s get him to a cell before he throws up again.”

The agents hauled him up off the ground and over the shoulder of the one who had made the other one stop. Zuko heaved air into his lungs, tasting the vomit in the back of his throat with each breath. He hung over the agent’s shoulder limply, closing his eyes as his head throbbed, with the feeling of it hitting the cave wall over and over again. He thought he was going to throw up again.

He breathed out. A steady stream of fire poured out of his mouth and caught on the stiff green fabric like the wick of a candle.

“Shit!” The agent dropped him and swatted the flames away. “Gag the little shit again.”

“I left the stones back there.”

“I hate these stupid- metal- spirits damn, he burned my hand!”

“You’re going to die, Zuzu, and I’m not going to care.” HOLY CRAP! Truth, coming from Azula's mouth? D:

“Crap, Dao, stop, get the gag off him. He’s choking.” I'm sure that this is more of a common problem than one would expect from canon. Dai Li restraints are a health hazard.

I'm glad that Zuko isn't above pushing his advantage, though. XD BREATH OF FIRE!!!

Well, the first part's truth, the second part is a BLATANT LIE. But Azula believes it, so I guess that counts as not lying.

Seriously. Gagging people in general is this, unless done very carefully.
